Q:What is ceramics?
A: Simply said, it is a kind of baked clay. In the case of Ceramic art, the lathe is needed for transforming, but in the case of factory products, the framework made by molded clay is needed. We are familiar to Pottery, Glass, Cement and Plaster, which are all "ceramic"!
Q:What is fine ceramics?
A:Fine ceramics are also a kind of baked clay. Using high purity materials, under precise control of component, shape and production process, it comes to get new functions and features (heatproof, dielectric constant,chemical resistance, etc.). Hardness is main characteristic. We use Diamond for its shaving. it is also called advanced ceramics.
Q:What are ceramic products applied to?
A:Fine ceramics are applied to semiconductor device , liquid crystal device,precision machine, Car engine parts and so on. They are also widely applied to home goods, medical materials (artificial root of a tooth, artificial joint and etc.) anywhere we exist.
Q:How to produce ceramics?
A: Raw Material => Milling/Mixing => Spray/Drying =>Forming => Green Machining =>Sintering => Grinding => Special Process =>Inspection => Cleaning => Final Product

A: Alumina 80% /
SiC, zirconia and others 20%
In alumina AR-99.6 is mainly used.

Q:How about the lead time of ASUZAC products?
A:Our lead time will be made by your required form, size, quantity and our line schedule.

1)Alumina: about 30 - 40days (About 2 weeks in case we have a sintering body.)
2)Zilconia, Sic: about 50 - 60days
3)Corseed: about 40 - 50days
Q:How to quote?
A:Please provide us your drawing or sample.
Q:We have the parts, but its drawing has not been prepared. Do you need it?
A:No problem! We can make its drawing by tracing your parts and It will be prepared in about 2weeks. So please kindly supply us your samples.

How can I design a vacuum end effector without adhesive?
A:We produce with our special technology "Built-in Hollow Channel" . It is that the hollow channel is dug before sintering. Therefore, after sintering, it is already completed. Any adhesive is also required.
Q:What is the merit without adhesive?
A:It is that you can use it under any condition. Therefore, our "Built-in Hollow Channel" can be used under high temperature, for chemical and so on.

Q:What is the difference between AR-99.6,AR(P) and AR4N?
A:1)Each purity. AR-99.6 is 99.6%, AR(P) is 99.9%, AR4N is 99.99%.
2)Those prices are also different.If the price of AR-99.6 is assumed 1,the price of AR(P)and AR4N is 1.3-1.5.
Q:What is the electrically conductive product "Corseed"?
A:It has conductivity itself although ceramics usually has dielectric constant.
Q:What is "Corseed" applied to?
A:Mainly it is applied to end effectors that transport wafers.
Q:What is the merit of "Corceed"?
A:Usually, the coating is required for the conductivity
Corseed does not reuire the coating and its kind of failure does not also occurred.
Q:How much is "Corseed" products?
A:In the case that the price of the product using Alumina with coating is 1, the price of Corseed becomes about 1.5 - 1.7 times. It is just for your reference, because the price will be changed by its shape, dimension and quantity.

Q:What is the core technology of ASUZAC Fine Ceramics Divison?
A:1)Whole production from the material adjustment to the finish of parts We introduce above whole production of fine ceramics rarely in the world. We also have the capacity of producing either the small amount trial product or the mass production.
2)Production technology of huge parts corresponded to G8 LCD We can produce ceramics for G8 LCD required for large plate sized 2160mm X 2460mm. Therefore, we have built the factory in Shioziri-si for such a large sized one and it has been on stream since November in 2004.
3)Fully using our special simulation technique, we promise that our design of ceramics, recommendation, assistance and all of our support will make you satisfied.
